Insurance

Athletic therapy is sometimes covered by insurance, but it depends on the specific provider and policy. In Canada, some extended health benefits plans include coverage for athletic therapy under paramedical services, similar to physiotherapy or massage therapy. However, coverage details—such as the reimbursement amount, annual limits, and whether a doctor's referral is required—vary by insurer and plan.

To find out if Dynamics Athletic Therapy is covered under your plan, you or your clients should:

  1. Check your online portal for paramedical coverage.

  2. Look for "Athletic Therapy" specifically or check if it falls under broader categories like "Rehabilitation Services."

  3. Call your insurance provider to confirm coverage details, including claim submission requirements.

  4. Billing—many policies require clients to pay upfront and submit receipts for reimbursement

If a client's plan does not cover athletic therapy, they may be able to submit claims under a Wellness Spending Account if they have one. Clients are responsible for reviewing their own policies and covering service fees.

Missed appointments are not covered by insurance.
